In 1985, Robert Deaton and George J. Flanigen, IV joined their creative strengths and formed Deaton Flanigen Productions, Inc.  This was their initial step in developing a full-service national film production company.

Clients of Deaton Flanigen Productions include NBC, ABC, the Walt Disney Company, Carsey Werner Mandabach, Buena Vista Television, RCA Records, Warner Brothers, MCA Records, Sony BMG Music, STP, KISS, and the Los Angeles Lakers.  Deaton Flanigen Productions was also instrumental in the creation of ABC Sports Monday Night Football with the incorporation of Hank Williams Jr.  These Monday Night Football spots earned Deaton Flanigen Productions two National Emmy Awards.

Deaton Flanigen Productions' recent projects include music videos for Kid Rock, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, and Justin Beiber, as well as commercials for "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," "Live with Regis and Kelly," and "Anderson."  Deaton Flanigen Productions has also produced the ABC Network television specials for the “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock” and “Kenny Chesney: Somewhere In The Sun.”

Deaton Flanigen Productions, Inc. has compiled an impressive list of national and regional awards.  Some of these major awards include The Clio, two National Emmy Awards for their Monday Night Football Campaigns, two CMA Video of the Year awards, Country Weekly/ TNN Music Awards Video of the Year, Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals from the International Film and Television Festival of New York, and the Grand Award at the Houston International Film Festival.  In 2003, Robert Deaton and George Flanigen were named the CMT Music Video Directors of the Year, and have won multiple CMT Music Awards for their work in the country music video genre.

Deaton Flanigen Productions has also been honored four times with GRAMMY Award nominations for Best Short Form Music Video.
